Fear

He said Perfect Love drives out fear
But I fear perfect love
Things could be sweet between me and you
Till one of us mess up like they all do

He said Love is Long-suffering
But I suffered for love long enough.
I've seen how nice you can look in that dress
but I am afraid you would be like the rest

He said Love does not keep a record of wrongs
But I've already recorded them in my mind.
All the wrongs I've felt in my heart
Lord, I pray you help me lift it up.

He said Ask and Thou Shalt Receive
but I have already received more than I can ask for
His Love, His Perfect Love
It drove out fear.
